Concepts worth spreading in the UK

We have worked with the world’s leading philanthropy experts to identify and select these ground-breaking approaches which have the potential to make the biggest impact on how philanthropy works. We selected initiatives that we believe will really make a difference to the sector—rather than those that are fun and interesting but less transformative.

The innovations have emerged from across the world: they are drawn from countries where philanthropy is already developed, such as the US and Canada, as well as those where it is at a different stage, such as India.

We would like to see these innovations replicated or scaled up in the UK. And we would also like to see new innovations emerging. For this to happen, we believe that greater openness, bolder leadership and a more confident approach to trying new approaches is needed.
