About the event
NPC will be taking part in a fringe event at this year’s Conservative Party Conference. The panel members will discuss whether the UK’s cities are leaving our towns behind.
The chair for this event is Sarah Weir, Chief Executive, Design Council. The panellists include:
- Mayor Tim Bowles, Mayor of the West of England
- Dan Corry, Chief Executive, NPC
- Neil McInroy, Chief Executive, CLES
- Professor Cathy Parker, Co-chair, Institute of Place Management
This event is free to attend and will be held in the secure zone. To read more about NPC’s work on place-based approaches, click here.
We will also be at the Labour Party Conference on 24 September. Both of these fringe events are sponsored by NPC, CLES, RICS, and Design Council.
