How to build convincing evidence with numbers
About this event
Using numbers to prove your impact can give your charity the edge with funders, but knowing how best to go about it can be a challenge. This workshop will explore different methods for how you can show impact through numbers.
This workshop will:
- Explain when numbers-based approaches are most powerful
- Explain the principles underpinning numbers-based approaches
- Help you think about what you can do yourself and what evaluations might need to be done externally
- Give you some basic tools to help you do in-house evaluations
- Give you a pathway to choosing the right external evaluation.
This in-person workshop will be interactive and limited in capacity, so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask your questions and get one to one time with our NPC expert. This training will be lead by NPC’s Principal for Data, Sarah Sandford.
Event timings:
- 9.45am – Arrival for tea/coffee
- 10am – Session begins
- 11am – Break
- 12.30pm – Close
Location: NPC Offices, 93 Great Suffolk Street – lift access and disabled toilet available.

Accessibility
We are also actively working to improve the accessibility of our online and in-person events. As part of our commitment, for all online events we use live closed captions and upload the recordings to YouTube which has the capability to select subtitles.
