This seminar will explore how we can close the gap between impact data and strategy.

About this event

Charities are getting better at collecting impact data, but many are still not using this data to inform strategic decisions or improve services. Learning from your data is a vital step in the impact cycle, linking the review of past impact with planning for future impact. It is not enough to report on what has been achieved: the most effective charities reflect on what the data is telling them, update their strategy in response, and maximise their impact through ongoing impact management.

So how do we close the gap between impact data and strategy? This seminar will explore:

  • How organisations have used impact data to shape their strategy
  • Challenges and barriers to learning from impact data
  • What is needed in terms of organisational culture and leadership
