Jessica Weir
Jessica works in NPC’s Understanding Change team as a principal consultant, as an expert on theory of change. She supports organisations to use theory of change processes to develop their thinking on how change happens, consider how best to measure impact and how to effectively communicate what they do, and how. She also has experience of developing approaches for monitoring, evaluation and learning and supports organisations to develop approaches to evaluation and impact measurement. She has worked in the charity sector for over 12 years working in a range of thematic areas, to design and deliver quality, impactful projects and programmes. Her interests lie in inclusive and participatory approaches to strategy, design and measurement. She likes working with clients, often in a ‘critical friend’ capacity, to use her skills and experience to guide organisations to improve the impact of their work.
Recent clients have included Walking with the Wounded, Opportunity International, UK Safer Internet Centre and Muscular Dystrophy UK. Prior to joining NPC, Jessica worked at Restless Development, supporting organisations based internationally and in the UK to prioritise learning and accountability in their design, monitoring, and evaluation processes. Jessica has an MSc in Anthropology, Environment and Development at University College London.
