Vaughan Lindsay

Vaughan has deep experience across the social, commercial and impact investing sectors and is passionate about climate change and profit with purpose.

Having been the CEO of several social enterprises, and one of the largest intermediaries in the carbon markets, he now has a range of non- executive roles as Chair of the Oversight Trust, board member of Sports England, board member of Zamo, as well as Chair of NPC. He is also an advisor to several social impact funds and commercial organisations in the carbon markets.

Prior to this, Vaughan was CEO of Dartington Hall Trust, one of the largest Social Enterprises in the UK focused on stimulating new initiatives in arts, sustainability and social justice.

Previously, Vaughan worked at McKinsey & Co; was Deputy Chief Executive at NCVO, the representative body for voluntary organisations in England; and Deputy Director at Shelter, a leading campaigning charity providing support services for the homeless.

Vaughan holds an MBA from London Business School, a Masters of Science in Demography from The London School of Economics, and a BA in Geography (Honours) from Oxford University.
