Innovating

What are tomorrow’s problems and opportunities for the social sector, and how might innovation in technologies, tools and approaches help tackle and embrace them?

If we are to stay ahead of social challenges, we must think for the future and embrace uncertainty, innovation, and learning. At NPC we create, develop, and test new ideas and learn from what works and what doesn’t. Doing this well requires us to be humble, agile, and open to failure.

We innovate through:

  • Prioritising challenges and opportunities with others across the field
  • Identifying, researching, prototyping, and building solutions
  • Working in the open, sharing practice, ideas, and approaches
  • Co-designing and producing insights, tools, and new ways of working.

We don’t believe in change for change’s sake, but if we’re serious about creating positive social change then we all need to get out of our comfort zones and adapt. Because we believe that people, places, and the planet only thrive when they get what they need from the social sector and beyond.
