Kenya Lamb

Kenya works as the Engagement Manager at Turn2us, and is part of the delivery team for Everyone’s Environment Local & Voices. At Turn2us she leads their work for the Everyone’s Environment programme with a focus on low-income communities and groups who are often under-represented in environmental debates.

She is a dedicated social justice advocate with extensive experience in tackling poverty, inequality, and racial injustice. Her expertise spans criminal and youth justice, equalities legislation, and multi-agency collaboration, with a consistent focus on driving systemic change in the public sector.

Kenya has advised the Home Office and Ministry of Justice on the Equality Act 2010 and co-developed a toolkit to help civil society challenge racially discriminatory policies using the Public Sector Equality Duty. During her time in Local Government, she led community safety data analysis to inform equitable strategies and policy development. Kenya also plays a strategic role in the Hope Collective, a national partnership dedicated to addressing poverty and inequality across the UK.

She brings a values-led, community-focused approach to all her work, ensuring that the voices and experiences of affected communities remain central to policy and strategy development. Throughout her career, Kenya has demonstrated expertise in building effective partnerships and collaborative approaches to tackle complex social issues, with particular strength in translating policy frameworks into practical tools for grassroots organisations and civil society groups.

Kenya is excited to join the Everyone’s Environment programme and steer forward in creating spaces where marginalised voices are heard and valued.
