Lena Vogel
As a Principal, Lena partners with charities, funders, and mission-driven organisations to design strategies, strengthen structures and processes, and communicate impact in ways that engage diverse stakeholders and drive system-wide change. Her work sparks solution-focused conversations, fosters organisational learning, and strengthens capacity at every level to create lasting social impact.
With over seven years of experience in the public, private and third sector across Europe and Africa, Lena has supported senior leaders in the public, private, and social sectors to navigate complexity and achieve transformational social and climate outcomes. She draws on tools such as systems thinking, inclusive decision-making, adaptive learning, Theories of Change, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to turn ideas into action.
Before joining NPC, Lena worked at McKinsey & Company, advising on organisational redesigns, operating model transformations, and change programmes. She developed corporate social impact initiatives and measurement frameworks, delivered leadership development training in mission-driven organisations, and supported strategy reviews in resource-constrained environments.
Earlier in her career, Lena worked with the UN World Food Programme and the World Bank, focusing on programme design, stakeholder engagement, and innovation in humanitarian and development contexts. She holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in International Studies from Leiden University.
