Yasmin Trivedi Dave
Yasmin is a Researcher at NPC with an interest in participatory approaches and addressing complex social and environmental challenges. Her work is informed by a cross-disciplinary perspective, shaped by her lived experience, academic, and NGO work. She is particularly drawn to approaches that embed lived experience and systems thinking.
Following a BA in International Relations and East Asian Culture Studies, Yasmin has worked with a range of environmental organisations, contributing to research on equity, rights, social safeguarding, and anti-racism at both national and international levels. She has recently completed an MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management at the University of Oxford, further developing her understanding of community-focused, place-based approaches and participatory mapping in the context of global biodiversity change.
Yasmin is particularly interested in supporting charities and organisations to tackle complex social and environmental challenges, with care, equity, and people at the centre to better understand their impact. In her free time, Yasmin volunteers for the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), where she chairs their Youth Advisory Board.
