With a shrinking pool of grant funding and increasing social need there is more pressure than ever to prove your organisation generates maximum social impact. As a result, outcomes measurement has become a top priority.

At the Measuring Social Outcomes Conference in Melbourne, NPC’s Head of Development, Tris Lumley, explored three themes: why charities measure impact based on research into the practices and attitudes of charities and funders; how the whole sector works at an aggregate level; and new ways of overcoming challenges identified in the first two.
