What we offer

Whether you’re looking to kick-start a career in the charity sector, or come armed with years of experience, this is the place for you. Our work is varied and interesting, and you’ll gain a rich insight into the workings of the charity sector and social-purpose organisations.

Beyond the richness of our topic areas, we work hard to simply be a good place to work—from your employee benefits package, to your personal development, to having a creative, sociable working environment in which you can thrive.

Below is a summary of what’s on offer. If you have any questions, or want to talk any of it through, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

We exist to make a differenceOur staff are driven by the contribution they can make to the charity sector and are passionate about what they do. Many of us are involved in social impact in more ways than one—like through volunteering or trusteeship. Purpose is part of everything we do here—and it’s contagious.

We recognise the importance of a good work set-up. Flexible arrangements—like part-time and from-home work—are an option. Our central London office space has informal break out areas, stand up desks and a quiet zone. We hot-desk, too—giving you the chance to get to know everyone beyond your immediate team.

We want to help staff grow and develop their skills while they are with us. We offer formal and informal internal training, on-the-job coaching, and peer support via your NPC ‘buddy’.

Staff get access to external events and sector training, and are encouraged to share knowledge with each other in lunchtime learning sessions. Volunteering days are available, and if you want to pursue your own vocational or post graduate studies we offer up to five days paid study leave to support you.

We aim to attract the best talent from all sectors and to pay accordingly. As well as a competitive salary, we offer a benefits package to support aspects of your life—including 25 days of annual leave, paid volunteering leave, season ticket and cycle to work loans.
