Why this year’s Beacon Forum is looking more impactful than ever
2 December 2025
Following the success of NPC Ignites, we are now busy planning for the Beacon Philanthropy and Impact Forum which continues to grow as the UK’s leading philanthropy and impact event.
This Forum carries particular significance, as it will be delivered together with NPC, enabling the event to grow in ambition and scale and strengthening the Forum’s role as a shared space for collaboration and learning across the impact economy.
The Forum has run since 2019 and we are incredibly lucky to have the support of so many leaders who want to drive change in the places and on the issues they care about.
Last year, our 250 attendees heard from changemakers such as Stephanie Peacock – Minister for Sport, Media, Civil Society and Youth, the Rt Hon Baroness Prashar of the Global Philanthropic Advisory Board, prison reformer Lady Edwina Grosvenor and David Holdsworth, CEO of The Charity Commission.
The event is always packed out as people from across the philanthropy and impact sector come together to hear new ideas, network and take part in our roundtable sessions — shaping the conversations that will propel the UK’s impact economy in the months and years ahead.
A big event with broad debate
Our plans for this year are even more ambitious.
We are aiming for February’s Forum to double in size, hosting 500 participants across three event spaces.
This growth will allow more conversations tailored to different parts of the capital spectrum, while also carving out a dedicated space for philanthropists to engage with peers at a strategic level.
This year we have an unparalleled programme of workshops and roundtables designed to put senior leaders at the heart of the UK’s most important impact conversations.
Each workshop provides rare access to experts and peers shaping change in real time, with candid discussion under Chatham House Rule and opportunities to directly influence where the sector goes next.
A shared endeavour
What makes the Forum so enjoyable to plan – and to attend – is its uniqueness.
Unlike other conferences, the event is deliberately multi-disciplinary, designed to bring together actors who do not often share the same room.
Philanthropists, non-profits, social investors, wealth advisers, fund managers, financial institutions, regulators, policymakers, and responsible businesses each arrive with different incentives and perspectives.
But we are united by a common goal: to harness the potential of impact capital to strengthen communities and support sustainable growth.
This spirit of collaboration has always been at the heart of the Forum. It was founded as a shared endeavour, and it continues to evolve in that way today.
Everyone at the table
We’re determined to stay inclusive as well, ensuring non-profits and smaller organisations can attend and remain part of the conversation.
This year’s headline sponsors, Barclays and CAF, are already supporting the event at a strategic level, enabling non-profits and smaller organisations — often the voices closest to the communities at the heart of impact — to participate. And it means we can bring new voices into the room, broadening the debate and making it more meaningful.
We’re also so grateful to our event partner Owen James for their long-standing support.
If the UK’s impact economy is to realise its promise it needs spaces where diverse actors can convene, listen, challenge, and collaborate. The Beacon Forum exists to provide exactly that space — a place to reflect and accelerate the sector’s ambitions.
