How do we drive productivity and innovation in the charity sector?

In his lecture at the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), our chief executive Dan Corry explains how charitable organisations must spearhead innovation and effectiveness to increase their ability to drive change in society.

RSA_events_logo_RGB The UK’s charity sector is worth £60bn a year, equivalent to the government’s total budget for transport and defence spending each year.

Yet we know precious little about how charities use the money entrusted to them, and almost nothing about how effective it is improving the lives of people who rely on charities for help.

In his annual lecture, our Chief Executive Dan Corry explains why this simply isn’t good enough, and how the sector would benefit from a dose of “creative destruction”.
