What’s it all about?

Our eighth annual conference—NPC Ignites 2018—is designed to shake things up. Will you be there on 10 October?

I haven’t been to many conferences before and so this has set the bar high! I remember reading that I would come out feeling inspired and I absolutely did feel that way.

NPC Ignites is designed to help charities keep pace with change and anticipate new trends and innovations to ensure their organisations are always maximising their social impact. #NPCIgnites brings together the brightest minds in the charity sector to inspire new ways of working. Topics will range from data to digital and place-based approaches to governance.

Everything was really well organised from start to finish.

Keynote speakers

Our opening keynote will be from NPC’s own Dan Corry who will be asking ‘Where next for charities and civil society?’ He will share his thoughts on how the sector is using innovative approaches and shaping the environment it operates in.

We are delighted that Tracey Crouch MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Sport and Civil Society, will be joining us to share plans for putting the government’s civil society strategy into practice.

Geoff Mulgan, Chief Executive at Nesta will be exploring who really wields power in the modern world and how charities can use this to their advantage.

The conference will close with a speech from Baroness Delyth Morgan, Chief Executive of Breast Cancer Now reflecting on her experiences in the sector and within government. She will end the day with a rallying cry for the sector.
