NPC works to help charities be more effective in achieving ambitious social change. We’re a charity too, and we share your passion for making the greatest impact possible. Our clients range from household names like Scope, Relate, MS Society and RNLI, to smaller, local organisations.

Since our founding we’ve worked to understand what makes a charity effective; offering help and advice to charities so they can achieve the greatest level of impact possible.

We support organisations at every stage of their evaluation journey—working flexibly to identify what data to collect and the tools and methods to do so effectively. We can help to solve the challenge of analysing and using data, assess processes and make recommendations that will improve organisational learning and impact.

Theory of change

A theory of change is all about identifying what you want to achieve and how you will achieve it—and we can walk you through the process. We’ll use it as a basis to help you clarify your strategy, assess your role and understand your impact.

Systems change

By understanding the complexity of the environment you are working in, and the systems you are part of, you stand a much greater chance of securing lasting change. We can help you adopt a systems change approach to your work.

User involvement

Involving users means working ‘with people’ not doing things ‘to people’. At NPC we believe charities and funders work best when they involve their beneficiaries in governance, designing services, and developing strategy. NPC can help you to effectively incorporate insight from lived experience throughout your organisation.

Our goal is to help you make the biggest difference to your cause. As well as providing one-to-one consulting help to individual organisations, we publish free online insights and resources, and host events, seminars and specialist training.
