We are collating and analysing data that is relevant to the coronavirus outbreak, to help inform the response to this crisis from charities and funders. The data and analysis we have collated and produced allows charities and funders to see some of the places in England that have been most affected by Covid-19. This is an ongoing programme of work and we will continue to add all new analysis and resources to this page as we produce them.
Our data from charities shows how demand for services has changed across the regions of England, allowing us to better share what charities have been experiencing on the ground. Our data from official sources, such as the Office for National Statistics, shows which places in England have underlying Covid-19 risk factors—such as age, health, BAME population figures and community deprivation. All of this work, helps indicate which places have a heightened risk of being adversely affected by this crisis and of acutely experiencing the negative economic impact of Covid-19.
Have you already viewed our data? We want to hear your feedback so that we can continue to improve its design and functionality. Complete this survey about our interactive Covid-19 data dashboard for charities and funders.
We want to keep expanding the range of data available to charities and funders. We can only improve this work through collaboration and with the support of others. Thank you to Turn2us and Buttle UK, who have already provided us with data. If you see the potential of this work and want to get involved, please contact us.

NPC’s Covid-19 data tracker is one of the best resources I’ve seen globally that aims to track areas of greatest need in our communities due to coronavirus.
