NPC supports the Guardian and Observer’s Christmas appeal
30 November 2012
Once again this year NPC has worked closely with the Guardian and Observer Christmas Charity Appeal, helping the newspapers choose their list of eight inspirational and high-performing charities that work with disabled people.
Given our unique position at the nexus between charities the Guardian and Observer were able to draw on our in depth understanding and knowledge of the charities selected this year, which are:
Greenbank
Queen Elizabeth Foundation for Disabled People
NPC has published research in disability related areas, including disabled young people in transition, the autism voluntary sector and mental health. All NPC research is available to download freely.
Tris Lumley, head of development at NPC, said:
‘NPC exists to increase the impact of both charities and funders, helping to make them more successful in achieving their missions. It’s been wonderful to work with the Guardian again this year, supporting its Christmas Appeal and enabling them to focus on an exceptional selection of charities who are making an invaluable difference to the lives of disabled people.’
