How can Trustees take action on the environmental crises?

About this event

Join us as, with Reach Volunteering, we share findings from the Everyone’s Environment programme’s engagement with young people, people from ethnic minority communities, Disabled people, and older people, to explore their priorities in tackling the climate and nature crises.

In collaboration with more than 50 partners, we have spoken with those worst affected by the climate and nature crises about how they want charities and policy makers to respond.

In this webinar, we will share what we heard, and consider how Trustees can support the charities that they govern as they take action on the social impacts of the environmental crises.

This event is for Trustees and Chairs of charities that might not typically consider themselves to work on environmental issues. This session will also incorporate time for discussion and reflection on the barriers to taking action, working together to share learning and build understanding of what works. It can be hard for Trustees to move beyond day-to-day scrutiny into big picture thinking – especially with limited guidance – but an urgent strategic shift is needed by the sector, and Trustees have a unique opportunity to drive that change.  The Everyone’s Environment programme can help you.

It’s #EveryonesEnvironment and the people you support are impacted by the climate and nature crises now.
