The S in ESG: how businesses can plan and measure social impact

About this event
The ‘S’ of ESG has long been challenging for businesses. The breadth of social issues makes it less well-defined than environmental and governance issues, with many companies scratching their heads on where to focus effort and how to measure results.
With social value increasingly part of companies’ ‘licence to operate’, there is a move away from the ‘S’ as a risk management tool and towards maximising social impact. This raises questions about how businesses decide the focus of their social impact work, plan their activities and—crucially—measure their impact.
In this event for business leaders, we will discuss these questions and share insights from businesses who have already been grappling with them. At the end of the event you know what your first steps should be towards measuring your organisation’s social impact.
