Initiatives we’ve worked on

We collaborate with partners so we can discover, develop and test new ways to maximise social impact. Here you can find out about initiatives past and present we’ve worked on to drive change across the charity sector.

The Building Connections Fund

Leading a consortium of partners to share learning and understand the impact from an £11.5 million cross-government fund in partnership with The National Lottery Community Fund and Co-op Foundation to tackle loneliness.

Data Labs

Our Data Labs project aims to open up government administrative data to the social sector. That way, charities, funders, government bodies and social enterprises can better understand the impact of their services on beneficiaries.

State of the Sector

We're exploring bold and imaginative responses in times of change to help the charity sector adapt and thrive.

Inspiring Impact

Inspiring Impact supports people who work and volunteer for charities, funders, and social enterprises across the UK. We provide free online resources, peer learning networks, and grant funding, so you can plan, understand, and improve your impact.

Youth Investment Fund Learning and Impact Programme

Working with providers, funders, commissioners, policymakers and young people to improve the impact of services and youth work as part of a learning partnership for the Youth Investment Fund.

The Charity Governance Awards

Supporting and celebrating outstanding charity trusteeship in organisations across the sector, regardless of size.

Transition Advice Fund

Building the capacity of the voluntary sector to help people who need additional support applying for settled status in Britain.

Commission on the Voluntary Sector & Ageing

Encouraging charities and funders of all types to consider how the ageing population will affect their organisation, and embrace the opportunities it brings.
