Catherine Hatcher

As a Senior Consultant in NPC’s research and consulting team, Catherine helps organisations to understand and improve their social impact. She is currently working with the Santander Foundation to implement a shared measurement framework for their digital and financial empowerment fund.

Catherine brings experience in research, evaluation, and fundraising from across the social sector. Before joining NPC, she led the learning and evaluation work of Voices Foundation—a national music education charity. Prior to that, Catherine worked with a team of social researchers to investigate the role of play in children’s education, development and learning at the University of Cambridge. Catherine is also a Trustee at Arts & Minds, a Cambridgeshire-based charity aiming to improve the wellbeing of people experiencing mental health challenges through creative activities.

Catherine is particularly interested in creating cultures of learning, working to understand how organisations can embed open, honest and reflective practice into all areas of their work to improve outcomes for the beneficiaries they serve.
