Clare Wilkins

Clare provides advice on effective philanthropy to a range of clients, including individuals and families, corporate foundations and grant-making trusts. Clare works with donors that are just getting started with their giving, those that wish to learn more about specific cause areas, funders that wish to review their charitable giving so far, and funders that wish to make a step change in their approach.

Clare works on helping funders have the greatest possible impact through their charitable giving. She can support funders to evaluate and communicate their impact, and can help with researching issues and analysing charities for clients focused on specific causes. She also works with a range of private client advisors, helping them to support their clients’ giving—including working closely with advisors when they introduce their clients to NPC.

Clare joined NPC in February 2017 as Head of Development, where she managed NPC’s Supporters’ Circle, before moving into the role of Principal: Effective Philanthropy. Prior to joining NPC, Clare worked for a number of organisations, including Deloitte, the London School of Economics, Plan International UK, NSPCC and the British Red Cross. Her areas of interest include neonatal health and gender equality.
