Sarah Williams

As a Senior Consultant, Sarah specialises in supporting organisations to understand, increase and communicate their social impact. She manages a range of NPC’s evaluation and learning partnerships, such as a partnership with Comic Relief’s Change Makers Programme, where she provides technical support and peer facilitation to 20 funded organisations on achieving and evaluating social change. She also works with clients including Save the Children UK, the Santander Foundation, and the Templeton World Charitable Foundation.

Sarah previously managed Inspiring Impact, a collaborative UK-wide programme to support good impact practice across the charity sector. She led the transition of the Inspiring Impact resources to NPC following the programme closure.

Sarah brings experience in research and evaluation from across the social sector. Before joining NPC Sarah worked at Relate, the UK’s largest provider of relationship support, where she focussed on implementing a culture of learning and evaluation to inform services and campaigns. Prior to that, Sarah worked at the Centre for Youth Impact, where she worked on various shared evaluation projects aiming to strengthen the youth sector’s evidence base and develop new, high-quality approaches to data collection.

Sarah is particularly interested in the role of shared measurement – to understand how we can support organisations with similar goals to develop and measure shared outcomes, for a more robust understanding of what works in tackling social issues.

Why I work for NPC

Working at NPC allows me to combine my interests in data and evidence with my passion for driving positive social change. The best part is the chance to work with, and learn from a huge range of organisations across the social sector.
