Alex is a Senior Communications Executive in NPC’s Think Tank and External Affairs team. He manages the organisation’s blog, is responsible for website and social media analytics and learning, and acts as a communications lead on a number of projects, for example NPC’s interactive Covid-19 data dashboard. Alex supports the development of communications strategies, oversees NPC’s social media channels, coordinates the organisation’s monthly newsletter and maintains the NPC website. He is also responsible for brand guardianship and has implemented a number updates to the look and feel of NPC’s work.
Before joining NPC, Alex worked as an Editor and Writer for an international development communications consultancy, producing magazines and editing technical reports for a number of global clients—writing primarily about agriculture, climate change, and international trade. He has years of marketing, brand and social media experience, and he has previously worked as a journalist for a number of media outlets. Alex also spent time as a freelance journalist.
