Peter works within NPC’s research and consulting team as a Senior Consultant. His primary themes of work relate to impact investing and impact management. Peter is currently working on several evaluations of multi-million pound programmes of work. One of them for a large UK grant-maker involves developing value for money calculations on whether the outcomes of the fund were cost effective. He has been working with Templeton World Charitable Fund on putting in place measurement across one of its education research portfolios. Peter has also been working on NPC’s data outputs—which help charities make data-informed decisions about coronavirus and related risk factors.
Before joining NPC, Peter had six years of working in research and evaluation. He also worked as a Senior Researcher in Development finance and impact investing at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS). Before that, Peter was a Research Analyst at Campden Wealth, providing intelligence on UHNWIs and family offices on their portfolio allocations.
He is passionate about increasing the social and environmental impact of investment, the methodologies to achieve that, as well as increasing user voice in the investment process. Peter holds a MSc in Development Economics from the University of Manchester, and a BSc in Economics from the University of York.
