NPC’S ASSOCIATE SCHEME ENABLES US TO ENGAGE FREELANCE CONSULTANTS WITH SPECIALIST EXPERTISE TO SUPPORT ON SPECIFIC PROJECTS.
Eibhlín is an independent consultant, focusing on impact measurement and use of evidence in the social sector. Prior to becoming an independent consultant she worked as the Insights manager for Nesta Impact Investments – a £20 million fund investing in early stage social ventures. She also worked as a senior consultant at New Philanthropy Capital (NPC).
At Nesta, Eibhlín worked closely with a number of investee companies, helping them develop impact strategies and metrics to quantify the social return to the fund. She also led a programme of research to develop investment strategies for the fund from a social impact perspective.
Eibhlín led Nesta’s work on the Standards of Evidence – a widely used framework to judge the quality of evaluation in the social sector. As a senior consultant at New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) she managed a number of research and consulting project for charities, investors and foundations. She led NPC’s work on shared measurement – developing common measures for organisations working on similar issues and published a number of reports looking at issues facing the social sector.
Eibhlín has a background in psychology research with specific expertise in quantitative research methods.
