Part of NPC Ignites 2020, NPC’s annual conference
About this event
Monitoring and evaluation may aspire to objective assessments of impact, but all too often privileges the funder’s view and can reinforce inequities of power and wealth. For organisations seeking to promote equity, it is an uncomfortable irony. This session in partnership with the Charity Evaluation Working Group establishes why equitable approaches to evaluation matter, and sets out a vision for how evaluation can support a more equitable and inclusive sector.
The event will be chaired by Rosie McLeod, Associate Director, NPC and Stephen Miller, Chair of the Charity Evaluation Working Group and Head of Impact Evaluation, Power to Change, and speakers include, Jara Dean-Coffey, Founder and Director of the Equitable Evaluation Initiative and Bonnie Chiu, Managing Director of The Social Investment Consultancy.

Covid-19 has held up a great big mirror to the massive social inequalities that beset our nation. At this year's NPC Ignites, we will discuss how charities can tackle them.
NPC Ignites is going virtual, our 2020 conference will now take place fully online. It is more critical than ever that we come together to discuss the future of the sector and examine new solutions to the problems we currently face.
